Myths of AI Data Centers

A Global Perspective

AI data centers are spreading across the U.S. like a virus. What are the goals, and what are the controls? Are they draining your town's water supplies? Driving up your electricity bill? Consuming as much power as entire cities? Creating thousands of jobs, or none? Are any parts of this actually sustainable? This talk takes on the controversial myths surrounding AI data centers and tests them against recent research and reports.

Looking globally, we will also compare the U.S. with China, the EU, and Singapore to see how other major AI markets are powering and regulating their data centers. Some of the popular fears are exaggerated. Others may be more serious. What is your take on this? Come share with us!
