    College of Education Events

We have decided in accordance with University guidance, and for the safety of our community and visitors, to offer limited on-campus visits. In lieu of in-person group events, we will consider requests for limited one-on-one appointments with a counselor on our Lincoln Park campus; however, we would much rather you join one of our upcoming virtual events or schedule a virtual appointment by phone or Zoom. Your safety and the safety of others is our top priority.

    In-Person and Virtual Events

    In-Person Information Sessions
These informal sessions with an Admission representative and sometimes with faculty members are designed to provide prospective students with both a general introduction to DePaul University and specific information about our graduate programs available through the College of Education.

    Virtual Information Sessions
Learn more about our graduate Education programs by participating in an hour-long online information session. The Office of Graduate Admissions offers virtual college-level and program specific remote information sessions, as well as sessions that focus on the admissions process and funding your graduate education.

Cohort and Special Partnership Information Sessions
We offer information sessions  virtually and in-person throughout the Chicagoland area for select graduate programs that have cohorts forming in partnership with school districts and various organizations including Teach For America, Academy Urban School Leadership, etc. These sessions, which are hosted by Admissions representative include an overview of our degree programs and admissions process, followed by a question-and-answer session.

One-on-One Counselor Appointments (In-Person or Virtual Options)
Get answers to your specific questions and explore program options in detail at a time that is convenient for you. Meet individually on campus, by phone, or through Zoom with one of our Admissions directors.

    Academic Spotlight Information Sessions
Join us for our virtual “Academic Spotlight Sessions” for a 45-minute presentation and Q&A session with an expert from your graduate program of interest. During these sessions you can expect to learn more about your intended major and the opportunities you will have as a graduate student at DePaul University. You’ll also gain a better understanding of the admissions process and see how the College of Education can help you achieve your career goals.

    Professional Development Lecture Series
We are pleased to offer a selection of timely continuing education opportunities for current educators, administrators, and counselors who may be considering DePaul. These free lectures are led by our faculty and have been designed to meet Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) requirements for teachers to earn continued professional development units (CPDUs) by attending.

    Graduate Admissions Virtual Drop-In
The Office of Graduate Admission is hosting virtual drop-in hours daily for prospective students to ask general questions about our degree programs or admissions process. These drop-in sessions are intended for short, 20 minute or less questions for individuals who require flexibility in scheduling a meeting to be able to engage at their convenience with our staff. If you need more time, please schedule a one-on-one appointment with one of our admissions representatives.

    University-Wide Graduate Open House
Each Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter, DePaul hosts a university-wide open house for prospective graduate students to meet with faculty and staff from 9 of our graduate colleges and schools. Learn more about the graduate open house.

    In-Person and Virtual Graduate Fairs

    Graduate School Fairs
