JLL - Setting Your Own Compass

This session will assist participants leading and planning one's life through a valued centered model.  Focusing on individual strengths and staying true to their own goals and personal compass.  Strategies for planning for the curve balls that our thrown our way and navigating your career will be discussed on how to move ahead in the workplace and in one's life.

Elizabeth Ortiz, PhD, is DePaul’s Vice President of Institutional Diversity and Equity. She serves on the boards of Diversifying Our Faculties in Illinois and the Illinois African-American and Latino Higher Education Alliance. She also serves as an officer of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education and was President of the Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education.
