This session will help you in planning and living your own life through a valued-centered model that focuses on individual strengths and staying true to your own goals and personal compass. We will discuss strategies for planning for the curve balls that are thrown our way, navigating your career, and moving ahead in the workplace and in your life.

Elizabeth Ortiz, PhD, is DePaul’s Vice President of Institutional Diversity and Equity. She serves on the boards of Diversifying Our Faculties in Illinois and the Illinois African-American and Latino Higher Education Alliance. She also serves as an officer of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education and was President of the Illinois Latino Council on Higher Education.
