About the Presenter: 

Matt Ragas (Ph.D., University of Florida) is a tenured professor in the College of Communication at DePaul University where he serves as the lead faculty member for the MA in Professional Communication, an accelerated, online graduate program for rising communication leaders. An award-winning teacher and researcher, Ragas is the co-author or co-editor of six books, including the forthcoming Business Acumen for Strategic Communicators: The Workbook (2024). His books with colleague Ron Culp are in use at more than 30 colleges and universities, and by many communication departments and teams. Learning and development clients have included HEINEKEN, Target Corporation, Mayo Clinic, TelevisaUnivision, Ragan Communications, Edelman Growth Academy, the Institute for Public Relations, and professional associations. He is a member of the board of trustees for the Arthur W. Page Society, the world’s foremost organization for senior communication leaders committed to elevating business for the better.
