Finding Your Life's Purpose

Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 12:00 PM until 1:00 PMCentral Daylight Time

This workshop has its roots in an approach to leadership and change called “servant leadership.” A concept coined by leadership guru Robert Greenleaf, it’s a philosophy that envisions the qualities of leadership as a deep desire to 1) serve others, 2) champion causes for change, and 3) nurture others to learn and excel. In addition to the traditional qualities of leaders taught in B-school curricula—servant leaders exhibit empathy, an urge to heal, active listening, the values of stewardship and the yearning for purpose-driven work. The choice to follow this path is a professional and personal choice just as much as a spiritual one.

This webinar is for those who experience a “call to service”—to play a role in philanthropic or not for profit organizations.

By the end of the webinar you will be able to:
  • Reflect on who you are, where you are on your career trajectory, what you value and what gives your life meaning
  • Realize greater insight into whether the choice to serve others is resonant with who really you are and what you want out of life
  • Articulate “Your Life’s Mission”—helping to illuminate what will fulfill your urge for meaningful work
