Business Writing Basics and Brush-Ups

This workshop looks at common pitfalls even otherwise-good writers produce.  Using a combination of exercises, reminders, and refreshers, as well as some new tips and techniques, we take an organic look at what makes writing “good” and how everyone can sharpen their own writing game. From getting started – aka writer’s block – to exploring “what’s-in-it-for-me,” and all-too-common errors, workshop content will provide ways to make written products cleaner, clearer, more concise and ultimately more effective in achieving their intent. In addition, the workshop will provide resources to participants so they may continue to explore ways to enhance their writing skills and build on the lessons learned.
