Diversity and Inclusivity: The Benefits and Challenges

Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 12:00 PM until 1:00 PMCentral Standard Time

Recent events have made it clear that practicing diversity and inclusion (D&I) must be a priority for everyone. However, you may feel uncomfortable talking about diversity and/or hesitate to be inclusive of others who are different from you. In this webinar, you will be encouraged to reflect and identify the challenges you encounter when wanting to exercise D&I. Understanding your own difficulties in implementing D&I is key to being able to foster and maintain an inclusive workplace and life. Join us as we explore this topic from a standpoint of “calling in” rather than “calling out.”

    This webinar is appropriate for:
    • Anyone who wants to understand why these conversations are difficult
    • Individuals interested in making their workplace more diverse and inclusive
    • Anyone who wants to learn more about themselves regarding this topic
By the end of the webinar you will:
    • Recognize the challenges of establishing D&I within the public and private sphere
    • Learn how to employ non-shaming/non-canceling and compassionate strategies
    • Examine practical tools to use when establishing D&I in your life
