Mastering the art of communication: How leaders communicate effectively

To be an effective leader, you must be able to clearly communicate your ideas and persuade people to support them. How do you prepare to succeed? How can you avoid communication breakdown?  How does nonverbal communication such as body language or eye contact impact your success? Learn techniques rooted in psychology, neurology and human resources to strengthen your communication and leadership skills and advance your career.

DePaul University Professor Joel Whalen is a globally recognized business communication thought leader. He is an associate professor of marketing and the director of curriculum for DePaul's Sales Leadership program. He has received numerous teaching awards and published extensively on this topic.

Following the seminar, learn about DePaul University degree programs tailored for members of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Please feel free to bring along a guest/colleague to the event. Light dinner is provided.
