Building an Inclusive Culture – What Makes the Difference

Sponsored by McDonald’s Hispanic Employee Business Network (HEBN)

Creating an inclusive culture where employees feel valued, welcome, and able to perform at their best is the goal for most modern organizations. This seminar will discuss the building blocks needed to create cultures that drive excellence, inclusion, and engagement, and invite participants’ self-awareness and self-assessment of diversity, privilege, stereotypes, and biases in the workplace. Participants will explore the connection between diversity and inclusion and practice practical strategies for identifying and interrupting bias.

Jaclyn Jensen, PhD, is an associate professor of management and associate dean of DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Her research interests include employee mistreatment, counterproductive work behavior, and the effects of stress and organizational justice on employee attitudes and behaviors. Her work has been published in multiple journals.

Before the webinar, DePaul University will present information about educational benefits and opportunities available to McDonald's employees.
