    Course: GMAT Prep Course

    The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is often a critical part of graduate school admission requirements. Hone your test-taking skills by preparing for the type of questions typically found on the exam.

    In this course, you will learn time saving tactics to enhance your score on every section of the exam. Take an assessment test in the beginning of the course to evaluate where you need to strengthen your skills. Prepare further by reviewing basic mathematical and reading comprehension methods. By the end of this course you will have developed techniques to help you solve logistical and comprehension questions quickly and accurately.

    Please note that the graduate school application fee will be waived by DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business for anyone who completes this course.

    FAQ

    Is the GMAT exam required for applying to graduate school?
    It depends on the college or university. To verify whether GMAT scores are required, students are encouraged to check the admission requirements of the graduate program(s) to which they plan on applying in advance of enrolling in the GMAT prep course.

    Are there course materials?
    The GMAT textbook and online materials are included in the cost of the course. However, you will need to purchase the following text: GMAT Official Guide 2020

    Is this course taught online or in class?
    The GMAT Prep Course is taught in class only on DePaul’s Loop campus.

    What type of assessment is given?
    A pre-assessment of verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing will be given during the first week of the course to evaluate your strengths and where you may need additional assistance.

    Are there any prerequisites?
    No. Most students looking to take the GMAT are applying to graduate school and are in the process or have already obtained a bachelor's degree. However, a bachelor's degree is not necessary for the exam prep course.
