"The quality of instruction and facilitation was excellent in this class. The instructors were very helpful and provided the opportunity for students to demonstrate their ‘real-life’ experiences in the professional setting. This class offered opportunities to interact with instructors as well as other students to explore ideas on logistics and supply chain. As a result, many complex concepts were discussed and made easy to understand. And, I was able to apply my newly gained knowledge at work to enhance my productivity. Thank you, DePaul." -Muhammad Daniyal Rashid, Logistics Coordinator, Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition North America, Inc. “I really enjoyed coming to class and listening to and sharing examples from “the real world” to make the material relatable. Engagement from the instructor and other classmates facilitated great discussion and brought the concepts from the text to life. I was able to apply several concepts at work and share them with co-workers to improve our own Supply Chain processes.” -Rebecca Pike, Demand Planner, Morton Salt, Inc.
DePaul's Supply Chain Management Certificate is offered through an agreement with The Association for Operations Management (APICS). The program uses the APICS CSCP Learning System, a comprehensive professional development and exam preparation program. It combines print materials with interactive online tools to deliver a customized learning experience and prepare you for the APICS CSCP certification exam. Completing this program does not automatically certify you as a CSCP. Please consult the APICS website and CSCP Eligibility Requirements for more information on the examination and certification criteria.
What is the CSCP certification? APICS created the CSCP certification specifically to meet the rapidly changing educational needs in the field of supply chain management. The CSCP designation is designed for professionals interested in increasing their knowledge of supply chain management, persons currently working in the field of supply chain management, professionals consulting or teaching supply chain functions and those individuals working with ERP systems. What is the purpose of APICS CSCP certification? Through extensive market research, APICS uncovered a major gap in professional certifications specifically addressing the educational needs of professionals working in the field of supply chain management. APICS has the body of knowledge, subject matter experts, infrastructure and leadership position to develop and market the CSCP certification. With the addition of the CSCP designation, APICS enhances its validation of the disciplines within operations management, specifically production, inventory, enterprise and supply chain management. Do I need to purchase a textbook? No. The CSCP Learning System, which consists of four print modules and additional online tools, is included in the price of the course.
