    Course: Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Program

    Six Sigma is a disciplined, data-driven approach to eliminating defects in any process—from manufacturing to transactional—and in products and services. The measurement-based Six Sigma methodology focuses on process improvement and variation reduction by applying a set of statistical, analytical and problem solving tools and techniques.

    The Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate Program focuses on creating a high performance organization through a mindset and culture shift that eliminates marginal methods used in the past and replaces them with a set of tools that continually produce exceptional results. The measurement-based Six Sigma methodology focuses on process improvement and variation reduction by applying a set of simple, yet sophisticated, statistical, analytical and problem solving techniques.

    This 16-week program includes lab time, instruction and application of the Six Sigma way of process improvement. You are required to successfully complete a continuous improvement project in order to receive a certificate.

    Are books included in the tuition fee?
    The textbooks are not included in the tuition fee. All other class materials are covered and will be distributed in class.

    What are the requirements for Six Sigma Green Belt certification?
    In order to receive a certificate you must successfully complete the continuous improvement project assigned by your instructor.

    Does this program qualify for financial assistance through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)?
    In order to find out if you qualify for financial assistance, you must first contact Workforce Development. As a certified program under the ILLINOIS workNet initiative, this program has been approved for workforce training grants for those who are eligible. Funding may be available for those receiving unemployment benefits. Please contact Workforce Development for more information.
