    Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Seminar

    In this seminar, you will gain an overall understanding of the search engine landscape and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as well as how search engines work and the difference between mobile, desktop and voice search. In addition, you will learn the fundamentals of SEO including keyword research, content creation and the importance of linking. You will acquire the core foundations for best practices of technical SEO such as crawlability, page speed and schema markup. This seminar will also provide insight into tracking and reporting on your SEO efforts.

    FAQ

    Are there course materials?
    There are no required textbooks for this course. It is highly recommended for participants to bring in some of their own writing samples about which they have grammar, punctuation, or word-choice questions.

    Do I get DePaul credit for this class?
    No, but some DePaul CPE courses have been approved for CEU credits. This is a professional education class with different requirements than courses taken for academic credit.

    How big is the class?
    Class size is limited to allow for a more interactive environment in the classroom. Most classes have fewer than 20 students.
